Evernest, a national, full-service real estate and property management firm, announced today that they have acquired Georgia-based Atlanta Property Management Group, Inc.
The acquisition adds approximately 230 homes to Evernest’s Atlanta portfolio, and boosts the firm’s overall properties managed to more than 11,500 nation-wide.
“We are really excited to continue to expand our Atlanta footprint. A deeper Evernest in the market allows us to provide better service for the Atlanta investors we serve and also gives our fantastic residents more homes to choose from,” said Matthew Whitaker, Evernest Founder and CEO. “Andy Ritan, [Atlanta Property Management Group owner], has done an amazing job over the years of building his rental home property management business and we look forward to continuing to build on that legacy in the months and years to come with our local best-in-class Atlanta property management team.”
“Evernest’s well-established and highly regarded local presence was a key consideration in selling my company,” said Atlanta Property Management owner, Andy Ritan. “I am confident in their ability to offer my clients all the benefits of a large, multi-state firm along with the perks of a local, Atlanta-specific team.”
Atlanta Property Management is the 27th organization purchased by Evernest, and one of six purchased within the last six months. “Our goal is to find best-in-class property management providers in select markets who are ready to exit the industry. We take the legacy they’ve built and infuse it with our distinctive culture – which includes a boots on the ground team, in-house brokerage services, and in-house underwriting – and provide a national, world class, property management experience for our owners and residents.”
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Evernest operates in 25 real estate markets across the country. It is one of the nation’s largest single-family and small multi-family investment brokers and property management providers. The firm manages more than 12,000 homes for over 4,100 owners, brokers more than 1,000 investment deals annually, and has made the Inc. 5000 list six of the last seven years.
