Matthew Whitaker

Founder, CEO

Matthew is a student of the book Good To Great and is passionate about building Evernest to become the best property management company on the planet; and maybe even the universe if Elon Musk will hurry up. To do that, he spent the first seven years of Evernest in the trenches but now focuses most of his time facilitating growth in other markets.

Entrepreneurship runs in the family. His wife runs a successful business called Engaged. You can usually find Matthew at the baseball field with his son, at a dance recital with his daughter or at his favorite restaurant with his wife, when he’s not in the office. And if you can’t find him any of those places, it probably means he’s traveling. Hometown: Vestavia Hills, Alabama

Matt Patterson

Chief Operating Officer

Matt Patterson, Chief Operating Officer with a wealth of experience in institutional and tech-driven real estate, Matt Patterson joins Evernest with a fervent passion for operations and building top-performing teams. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills at three of the country's largest single-family rental operators, making him invaluable in our mission to expand to 25,000 doors.

Matt's journey in the real estate industry started with a private investment firm, where he quickly transitioned into institutional SFR in 2012. He excelled in acquisitions, successfully launching markets and creating opportunities for growth. Subsequently, Matt joined a new company to optimize their portfolio and streamline operations, which led to his next challenge of relaunching national acquisitions and managing relationships with ibuyers. After a series of mergers and acquisitions, Matt joined a new company to take on the task of building the nation's first tech-enabled property management company, where he saw the business grow from 500 to an impressive 15,000 doors in just 5 years.

With a drive for innovation and a passion for making a difference, Matt now joins Evernest to continue his impactful journey. Aside from his professional endeavors, Matt is a loving husband and proud father of three children, with a fourth due in July. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through mountain biking, running, traveling, and reading.



Graham Robinson

President

Graham joined the Evernest team in 2021 and has a proven track record as a problem-solver with the ability to identify the most important drivers that can fundamentally improve a business. Prior to Evernest, he most recently served as the joint CFO/COO in growing healthcare and tourism companies. He loves smoking BBQ, eating Tex-Mex (the spicier the better), being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and their three children. Hometown: Houston, TX.



Anthony Stamper

Director of Operations - Memphis, Little Rock & Jackson"

Anthony Stamper is a real estate and property management professional with over 30 years of experience in operations, leadership, and asset management. Since joining Evernest in 2021, he has assumed increasing leadership responsibility based on performance and impact, currently overseeing operations across four markets: Ridgeland, Mississippi; Memphis, Tennessee; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Anthony is a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee and brings hands-on investment experience, including ownership of a small residential portfolio, multiple personal property renovations, and involvement in hundreds of property turns. He offers deep expertise in investment property management, risk mitigation, budgeting, and process improvement. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved in their activities.



Jocelyn Castro

Director of Operations - Tampa + Orlando

Jocelyn Castro is a passionate and skilled real estate professional with a unique blend of retail management, customer service, and property management knowledge. With over 10 years of experience, she offers a wealth of expertise to her clients. Born in Miami, Florida and residing in Tampa for the past 7 years, Jocelyn holds a degree in Business Administration from Miami-Dade College/Ashworth University. She is licensed as a Broker and Community Association Manager and is driven to provide exceptional service to all her clients. Jocelyn's goal is to continuously contribute to the success of her company and to achieve success as a Realtor®. In her leisure time, she loves traveling and cherishing moments with her loved ones.



Natasha Thompson

Director of Operations - North Virginia

Natasha is a Northern Virginia native with more than 16 years of experience in real estate and property management. Natasha currently serves as Evernest’s Director of Operations for the Northern Virginia market where her primary focus is providing a positive customer experience to tenants, owners, and vendors alike, while developing those that she have been entrusted to lead. Also, a dedicated member of the National Association of Tenantial Property Managers (NARPM), Natasha is passionate about helping clients successfully manage their homes and portfolios across the NOVA and Woodbridge area.

Natasha recognizes and values the trust her clients place in her and she strives every day to exceed their expectations through directness, transparency, and making their needs my focus. At the core, Natasha is a dedicated mom who thoroughly enjoys making a home where the heart is. She strives to help others feel the same.



Reese Hamilton

VP of Property Management

Born in Augusta GA, Reese has spent most of his adult life in Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. He brings over 10 years of experience in operations and logistics management. His professional passion is providing unparalleled customer service. In 2020 Reese changed careers and moved 1,500 miles to join the Evernest team in Tennessee.

While in TN Reese led the Chattanooga market and Nashville markets and as of Dec 2022, Reese has returned to Colorado to lead our Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, and Texas markets! When he is not at work Reese spends his time with his wife and two children rock climbing, mountain biking, and enjoying all the amazing things Colorado has to offer.



Gray Hall

VP of Operations

Gray Hall has built his entire career around a dedication to excellence in property management. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama Gray joined the Evernest team in its early days as a leasing coordinator in 2016. He held various leadership positions at the company before assuming his current role as the VP of Operations in 2023.

Gray now brings his 10+ years of experience in property management to bear as the co-host of the Evernest Property Management Show podcast. When he’s not sorting out systems or combing through spreadsheets, Gray enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with his growing family.



Joshua Long

Director of Operations - Pacific Region

With over a decade of experience in property management and real estate, Joshua brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Evernest team. Joshua has held a variety of property management roles over his years and remains focused on the client experience and operational efficiency. A proud graduate of California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), Joshua earned a bachelor’s degree in administration with a concentration in management, graduating with honors. Originally from Southern California, Joshua now resides in Northeast Georgia and is licensed to practice real estate in both Georgia and California.In his free time, you can likely find Joshua at the lake, in his garden, or with a book. Joshua enjoys spending quality time with his wife, son, and daughter, as well as his two energetic golden retrievers, Abby and Archie.Hometown: Upland, CA

Steve Brown

Chief Revenue Officer

Steve Brown brings more than twenty years of experience to bear in his role as Chief Revenue Officer for Evernest. Steve oversees the Brokerage division at Evernest and helps facilitate transactions for rental property investors all over the country. Prior to joining the Evernest team, Steve built a profitable property management and real estate business in Florida that was acquired by Evernest in 2022. When he’s not analyzing deals or reading about market trends, Steve enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their dog Max.



David Soles

Director of Operations - Atlantic Region

David Soles turned a background in education into a passion for leadership in the property management space. As a Regional Director of Operations for Evernest, David focuses on fostering accountability and maintaining a client-first approach to ensure satisfaction and long-term success. Since joining the company in 2019 he has optimized daily property management functions, enhanced operational efficiency, and standardized procedures across the organization. When he’s not problem solving for Evernest and its clients, he’s coaching basketball, playing golf, and listening to audiobooks about leadership.



Dijana Pajic

Director of Operations - Gulf Region



Dijana Pajic

Director of Operations - Gulf Region

Dijana Pajic is a seasoned leader in the property management industry, currently serving as a Regional Director of Operations at Evernest. She began her property management career in 2015 and has held multiple leadership positions across both single-family and multifamily property management organizations before joining the team at Evernest.

Dijana leverages her extensive operational background and cross-asset-class experience to deliver high-quality, results-driven outcomes for both property owners and residents. When the sun sets on another long day of handling business, she is surrounded by her loving crew of rescued Rottweilers and is a dedicated advocate for animals in need.



Victoria Bodak

Director of Operations - Mountain Region

Victoria Bodak is a rising star in the property management space. Victoria started her career in property management in 2021 before joining the Evernest team in 2022. She quickly ascended from property manager to Regional Director of Operations after exhibiting her strong leadership and managerial skills.

She now oversees operations across the entire mountain region, working to seamlessly solve problems for landlords and residents alike. When she is not improving operations for Evernest she is soaking in every moment with her growing family or lost between the pages of a thick book.



Vikas Gupta

Chief Product Officer

Vikas Gupta joined Evernest in June 2025 as Chief Product Officer, leading Evernest's product and engineering team to develop software and AI tools for Evernest's team to be able to better serve its clients and residents. Prior to Evernest, Vikas spent most of his career in technology startups, most recently as the CEO of Azibo (property management software for small real estate investors), and before that in a variety of roles including founder, product leader, marketing leader, and analyst, and he started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He has a BA and MBA from UCLA, and he is a Los Angeles lifer, where he lives today.



Jennifer Doak

Chief People Experience Officer

Jennifer joined Evernest in 2025, bringing over 20 years of HR expertise to the team. Throughout her career, she has established a reputation for delivering people-centric results that drive business growth and foster professional development. Jennifer is a firm believer that a company’s success starts with its people, a philosophy she champions every day.

A proud Rhode Islander, wife, and mother of three, Jennifer and her family now call the Greater Atlanta area home. Outside the office, she is usually found cheering at her children’s sporting events, supporting her beloved Boston Red Sox and Celtics, traveling, and enjoying all activities that involve being outdoors in the warm weather. Hometown: Newport, RI


