Where To Invest In Birmingham: Adamsville, Forestdale, and  Graysville

What’s up, everybody? This is Matthew Whitaker and I am doing an overview of Birmingham investing.

Today I’m going to dig into Adamsville, Forestdale, and Graysville area. So these are very popular areas for investing. Because of this I wanted to dig in and go through some specifics of why they are so popular.

If you are looking at Birmingham, the I-22 connects Birmingham with Memphis and it runs into the City of Forestdale. Then Adamsville is after that and Graysville is after that.

If you’ve seen my other video on the Center Point Parkway area, then you will notice that this is going to be very similar. Houses were built around the same time, in the late ’50s, ’60s. They are great, super-efficient homes. You are going to find C+ to B- neighborhoods, so there are some really good areas, particularly for the rental investor.

Value For Your Investment

The difference between the Center Point Parkway area and this area is just the concentration of homes. There are a lot fewer homes to the northwest of Birmingham than there are to the northeast of Birmingham.

So these houses here are a huge, huge, huge return for value. In other words, the rent rates are very high relative to the money you put into these homes.

If you want some current figures, please call us. We would be happy to answer any questions and provide advice on whether or not you should invest depends on what you are looking for.

Adamsville is great because they have a bunch of retail. So you have people who work in Adamsville. Graysville all go to county schools, Minor High School, which is different than what we normally see. You might find more families in Graysville.

If you have any specific questions, contact us. I’m Matthew Whitaker with evernest.
