What’s up, everybody? My name is Alex and I run the gkhouses office in Chattanooga. This is another Questions Owners Ask, and today I am going to answer the question, “Where do you find tenants in Chattanooga?”
And, it might be easier for me to answer this question from the sense of where/how do we market houses that we have for rent?
The first way we find tenants in Chattanooga is to post a sign in the yard. It’s very underrated.
It is constantly underrated, even in this digital time that we live in. You will have a lot of people that still look for houses by just driving through the neighborhood. People drive through neighborhoods to get a feel for what the neighbors are like, etc.
Another way to find tenants in Chattanooga is by posting on Zillow, Trulia, and HotPads.
If you post on Zillow it syncs into the other website because they are connected. The majority of people still use Zillow to try to find a rental house.
We also use a website called Zumper, and the reason we use Zumper is because it syncs to Facebook Marketplace. We have noticed a shift where people are using Facebook Marketplace more often to find rental houses.
So, those are the primary ways that we find tenants in Chattanooga. I hope this was helpful.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to help you find tenants in Chattanooga. We specialize in finding the best tenants and keeping them in your house long term!
Thanks, everybody!
