With the outbreak of the Coronavirus continuing to affect our economy, we wanted to proactively communicate to our residents about coronavirus unemployment benefits. While most companies are asking employees to work from home, some jobs are unable to be done remotely and many people are finding themselves out of work, maybe only temporarily.
This is why we wanted to take some time to compile some information that may be helpful in the event of a job loss. Listed below are links to the government unemployment offices of each state in which we manage properties.
In the event you become unemployed as a result of the coronavirus or the economic changes caused by the coronavirus (maybe temporary or permanent), please immediately reach out to your state’s unemployment office and discuss your options. We want to make sure that you and your family are taken care of during this unfortunate time and we will do everything in our power to work with and help you.

The most important thing to do in this time is to communicate with us. Property managers are doing everything they can in this time to help residents, but a lack of communication from a resident makes it more difficult for property managers to provide help. The best way to get in touch is using our contact page.
Also, many states and the United States congress are working together to open up unemployment benefits for citizens who have had their income affected by the coronavirus outbreak. Each state’s unemployment department information is linked above.
The best resource for finding a coronavirus testing location is calling your local doctor’s office. The United States government is working on setting up testing sites very quickly & Google has announced they will be creating a website to share information about testing locations. We will update this post once that information becomes available.
The best source of information for updates regarding the Coronavirus are the following organizations:
As always, we are working with residents on a case by case basis. The gkhouses team is always available to discuss any problems or questions a resident may have via email at [email protected]
